Growing up does not sound quite as appealing as it once did.
A few Sundays ago, I took a look at my life. I realized then, that within the next 8 months everything is gonna change! I am going to go from High School to college, Seminary to Institute, Family ward to Singles ward, kid to adult! Guys, I CAN VOTE THIS YEAR!! WHAT IS MORE TERRIFYING??!?! Oh, I know, the fact that statistic wise(according to the married women in my family) I will probably be married within 6 years.(yes I actually calculated the average marriage age within the Parry Women) So, I don't know what else to do other than pray. That and sing How Firm a Foundation. eeap.. so, I am totally open to any advice here! Just give it to me!

STRESS
oh my, I think that I just had the most eventful weekend of my life so far! I am usually not a busy person so this was new to me! It started off with the HOSA competition. HOSA stands for Health Occupation Students of America. I had the opportunity of going to the state competition with my tech center and about 2,000 other students. I stayed up to about midnight on Wednesday night to finish final touches. The next day at 10:00 we left. By 4:00, I was testing in my first event Home Health Aid. Luckily I was one of 19 to pass the written portion so I was able to move on. Later on that day, me and a partner presented a poster of Accupunture and Herbal Medicine; that is really facinating by the way! The next day I did the other half of the Home Health Aid test and the Medical Terminology test! WOW!! I cannot recollect another time where my stress levels were so high! hahaha. I had so much fun though with a few friends from the Nursing Program that I'm in. I did not place in anything but I am still pretty proud of myself for at least trying. This is not something that I would normally do.
The next day was Prom. You must understand, I found out that I was attending Prom 5 days before this. Me and my date sort of get paired together A LOT! If we don't go together than the friend group is not together. But before any fun Prom stuff got to happen I had to go to clinicals. I go to Draper Rehab Center every Saturday morning at 7:00 AM for my tech class. I really love working with the CNAs there and all of the residents. So 12:30 hits, I go straight to a freind's house to get ready. I saw the last 20 minutes of the movie that they were watching. about 3 1/2 hours later all 4 girls were all prettied up and ready to go! We had dinner at a Tai food resturaunt and it was amazing!! and I got one of the cheepest soups! It was delightful! after that, we went to the capital building where prom was being held. That was a lot of fun filled with dancing and such! I thank my friend's cousin for lending me the dress. Pictures will come soon!
The next day was Sunday and oh no, my eventful weekend was not over yet! While I was waiting to present my poster at the HOSA competition, I got a call from a lady in the ward telling me that no one else could do it and was wondering if I could give a talk in church! Well sure!! Why not (twitch twitch) well, honestly, Sunday morning I wrote up a few sentences before I had to go to a meeting with my bishop! naturally. that went well but eventually, the stress got to me and I started crying JUST BEFORE I stood up to talk. great. I stood up read my few sentences and pretty much just talked for another 10 minutes. People were nice and complimented how much they liked it...
hahaha you thought I was done with the talk didn't you?? NOPE!! The very next day I had a medical terminology midterm test in my CNA class! yay. luckily, I got an 85% which is a B. after that weekend I am more than willing to settle for a B. :)

sweetheart Mascarade!
So much fun!! Kelly came over early to do my hair all pretty and I left soon after. My date was able to dance a little despite his wheelchair. After we left, we watched Lady and the Tramp, which I have no recollection of ever watching so that was fun!
awww
I will forever keep this little valentine from one of my best friend's little sister. She very sweetly wrote "Happy Valintise Seru." on a McDonald's napkin :)
